Higher Dress Rental reserves the right to change and update these terms and conditions without notice.

Hire of garments from Higher Dress Rental
You agree that you are renting the garment and Higher Dress Rental always remains the owner of the garment.
You agree to pay your hire fee in full prior to postage or collection.
You agree to treat our products with respect and as if they were your own.
You will not attempt to fit into a dress that is too small or make personal alterations at any time. You agree to not zip up a dress that is too tight causing damage to the zip.
All dresses are inspected upon return and prior to being sent for dry cleaning.
Our insurance does not cover zip damage, and you will be charged if the zip is damaged.
We have the right to ask for photo ID at any time.
Higher Dress Rental has the right to refuse hire at any time.

Payment terms
Once you have completed your order online, you authorise Higher Dress Rental to charge your selected payment method in full for all cost outlined in hire fees including shipping.
You authorise Higher Dress Rental to charge additional monies up to the RRP of hired dress as per terms and conditions outlined below.

Cleaning
- Professional cleaning is provided with the hire.
- Please do not attempt to clean the item.
- If items become wrinkled in the post, please steam garment on low heat if necessary.
- Our garments have been worn by other customers prior to your hire.

In-store collection
- Bookings made in-store or online for pickups must be placed a minimum of 48 hours prior to hire date.
- If you need the dress within 48 hours please contact us on info@higherdressrental.com to confirm the dress will be ready for collection.

Clearance/retail
Items that are purchased online and in-store are final and are not eligible for refund or exchange. This includes ex-rental dresses. Please note these garments are second hand and have been worn a number of times.

Credit note/Gift card
- Credit notes and gift cards have a 3-year expiry.
- If an order is placed using a credit note, the order is final and cannot be exchanged or refunded for another credit note.

By providing your email on your order you are agreeing to receiving marketing materials from time to time. Your personal information will not be shared with third party companies.

Postage
Postage prices start from $16.95
- All orders made for weekend hire must be made by the previous Tuesday by 12pm.
- All packages will be marked as to be left unattended and will be left in a safe place.
- We do not take responsibility for any for any delivered and unattended orders.
- We do not take any responsibility for addresses that have been incorrectly entered.
- Higher Dress Rental is not responsible for any postage delays once then item has been despatched.
- Once the parcel has been dispatched the delivery address cannot be changed. If you notice any incorrect information on your order, please notify us immediately at info@higherdressrental.com.
Please note to avoid delays you may receive your package earlier than expected.

Returns
- Each order will come with a prepaid Express Post satchel.
- Please place the dress inside the return satchel and take to an Australia Post Office or a Yellow Express Post box. Higher Dress Rental will not take responsibility for missing packages returned via the Yellow Express Post Box. We recommend returning the package via your nearest Australia Post outlet as you will be given a receipt as proof of return which we advise you on keeping.
- If you lose your satchel you will need to purchase an Express Post satchel at an Australia Post outlet and provide Higher Dress Rental with tracking details.
- If the package details are not received, your order will be treated as unreturned, and you will incur further cost.
For in-store returns, please return your dress to Masters Dry Cleaning South Kingsville located at 78 NEW STREET, SOUTH KINGSVILLE 3025.
You are welcome to drop into the warehouse. Please check open hours.

Unworn orders
If you do not wear the dress, you hired for your event you will be issues with a credit note to the value of the Dress Hire minus (-$10) for fees and processing. Unworn items will be determined by Higher Dress Rental and if there are signs of the item being worn you will not be issued a credit note/refund.

Damaged goods
- We expect garments to incur some wear and tear from time to time.
- Minor damages up to $50 will be absorbed from Higher Dress Rental. Major damages including garment damaged beyond repair will be charged back to you at the full RRP
- Please let us know if damage has been caused to a garment immediately, and do not try to repair it yourself.

Late returns
- All garments returned late will be charged a late fee. You will be charged $20 per day until the item is returned. If the item is not returned within 7 days, the full RRP will be charged.
- If your returns satchel is lost or misplaced, it is your responsibility to pay for the return via an Australia Post box. We recommend getting a tracking number to avoid lost packages.
- We will not be liable for lost packages. Any missing orders will incur a fee of the full RRP of garment.

Missing Returns
In the event we do not receive outstanding fees, Higher Dress Rental reserve the right to pass on invoices to a collection company.

Refunds
Please note that once your order is completed and paid for in full either online or in-store you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
- You will not be entitled to a refund of the hire price.
- If you wish to cancel you must inform Higher Dress Rental and provide a minimum of seven days’ notice prior to the commencement of hire start date.
- Upon cancellation you will be given a credit note to the value of the hire price.
- Higher Dress Rental will allow the garment to be exchanged for another dress however any price difference must be paid.
- If you provide notice within the seven-day timeframe, it will be at our discretion to provide a credit note or exchange.
- Higher Dress Rental does not hold responsibility for cancellation of events or illness including Covid19.
- Afterpay and Zip pay will incur a $10 cancellation fee.
