Can I try the dress on?

Yes, we welcome you to our warehouse during our opening hours. 
You do NOT need to make an appointment or booking.


Do I need to clean the dress?

No, simply wear the dress and return. We will take care of the rest!


How long is the rental period? 

Our rental period is four days. Please contact us if you require a longer rental period and we will try our best to accommodate your needs.


My dress has arrived and doesn’t fit

We understand this may happen. Please contact us at info@higherdressrental.com within six hours of receiving your order. 

Please return your order in the return satchel provided to your nearest YELLOW Australia Post box or outlet.

Once the items have been returned unworn, you will receive a credit note minus a $30 cancellation fees. If you would like to swap for another size please contact us at info@higherdressrental.com, alternatively you can visit us in store to exchange for a different size or dress. Please note you will be charged any price differences. 


What if I damage the dress? 

We understand that accidents can happen. For minor accidents Higher Dress Rental provides you with free insurance for costs up to $50.00. For major damages you will be charged the repair fees. If the garment is deemed damaged beyond repair, you will be charged the RRP for the dress.


What if my dress arrives damaged? 

As these dresses are rentals, minor wear and tear relate damage may be present. Anything beyond that should be reported to us immediately with clear pictures. We will happily work with you to provide an alternative option, or provide a credit note. 


Do I need to sign for my dress?

No, all deliveries will be marked as leave unattended. 


Do you deliver to PO boxes?

No, we do not. 


How long will delivery take? 

All orders will be delivered via Express post. Please allow 1-2 days depending on your location. Rural or interstate orders may take longer.


Do you deliver Australia wide? 

Yes, we do! We offer free pick up in-store, or Express post Australia wide. 


How do I return my dress if my hire period ends on a Sunday or a public holiday? 

We will provide a return satchel that can be placed into a YELLOW Australia Post box at any time. If you would prefer to return via an Australia Post outlet, you can do so on the following business day. 

Returns can be made in-store during our opening hours. On Monday, in-person drop offs will need to be dropped at Masters Dry Cleaners located at 78 New Street, South Kingsville 3025. 


Do I have to pay for postage? 

Yes, postage will be added to your online order and will be determined by your location. If you are located in Melbourne, you are also welcome to collect your order in-store. 


I lost my returns satchel, what do I do? 

Don’t stress! Just visit your nearest Australia Post outlet and purchase a new satchel. Returns are to be made out to:

Higher Dress Rental, 14 Pickett Drive, Altona North, Melbourne 3025.
